MEDICINAL INGREDIENT: Each capsule contains 400mg dried, powdered aerial part of Hypericum perforatum L. (St. John's Wort).
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENT: Vegetable capsule.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE (Adults): 2 capsules, 3 to 4 times a day, with water.
DURATION OF USE: Use for at least 1 week to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 18 weeks.
WARNINGS: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Before use, do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are taking anxiolytics, anticonvulsants, antihistamines, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants, and/or opiates. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or any source of ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS: Some people may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea, restlessness, and/or headache. Hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy) may occur. In this case, discontinue use.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use if you are taking anticancer agents, blood thinners, antidepressants (e.g., selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs)), anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular medications, immunosuppressants, and/or contraceptives. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if outer seal is broken.
