MEDICINAL INGREDIENT: Each capsule contains 400 mg of dried leaf powder and 50 mg of 10:1 extract equivalent to 500 mg of dried fruit of Malva verticillata .
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Vegetable capsules.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE (Adults): 2 capsules, 3 times daily. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this product.
DURATION OF USE: Occasional use only.
WARNINGS: Consult a health care practitioner: if symptoms persist, worsen, or if new symptoms occur; before use; if you are taking prescription medication; if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or fever; if you notice a sudden change in bowel habits that persists for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or if constipation persists even after use of a laxative product; if you are taking medications that inhibit peristalsis (e.g., opiates, loperamide). Do not use if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, a kidney or liver disorder, diabetes, or edema (swelling of the hands, face, or feet), or if you are taking products containing diuretics. Stop use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms, and/or diarrhea. Stop use and consult a doctor immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, weakness, muscle pain, abnormal heart rhythm and/or difficulty breathing.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Use with caution in people with loose stools due to spleen deficiency. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if outer seal is broken.
