Phytovie's Elimination herbal tea combines the natural properties of birch, blackcurrant and senna in a gentle and effective formula.
Traditionally used in herbal medicine, birch and blackcurrant are known for their diuretic properties. Senna, on the other hand, acts as a stimulant laxative that helps relieve occasional constipation in the short term.
Together, these plants create a purifying and rebalancing infusion, ideal for supporting the body in a natural detox process, while providing a feeling of lightness and well-being.
MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Each sachet contains:
• 370 mg Betula pendula leaf (Birch)
• 150 mg flowering top of Filipendula ulmaria (Meadowsweet)
• 230 mg Glycyrrhiza glabra root (Licorice)
• 300 mg Ribes nigrum (Blackcurrant) leaf
• 450 mg Senna alexandrina leaf (Senna)
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE (ADULTS): Take 1 dose (1 sachet) at bedtime. Infuse in 1 cup (150 ml) of boiling water for 5 to 15 minutes in a covered container.
– Take a few hours before or after medications or natural health products
– Ensure adequate fluid intake
– Allow 6 to 12 hours to see the laxative effects
– Take 2 to 3 times a week . If the effect is not obtained, take up to 1 dose per day.
DURATION OF USE: For occasional use only. Consult a health professional for use beyond one week.
PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS: Consult a health professional:
– if symptoms persist or worsen
– before use if you suffer from:
• a fecal impaction
• abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever
• asthma
• coagulation disorders
• or if you are taking NSAIDs, anticoagulants, salicylates
Reduce dose or discontinue use if:
– abdominal pain
– cramps
– spasms

KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS: Hypersensitivity may occur. If this occurs, discontinue use. Stop use immediately and consult a doctor if:
– dizziness
- confusion
- weakness
– muscle pain
– heart rhythm disorders
– difficulty breathing
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use if you:
– are pregnant or breastfeeding
– suffer from:
• abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract
• existing or potential intestinal obstruction
• lazy bowel
• appendicitis
• inflammatory colon disease (Crohn's, ulcerative colitis)
• abdominal pain of unknown origin
• undiagnosed rectal bleeding
• severe dehydration with loss of electrolytes
• diarrhea
– take some:
• diuretics
• corticosteroids
• licorice root
• medications or health products that may aggravate electrolyte imbalances
– suffer from:
• hypokalemia
• heart disease
• high or low pressure
• liver or kidney disease
• diabetes
• edema
– are allergic to:
• acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other salicylates
