They are the world's second-largest mushroom after chanterelles, possibly because their nutty flavor and firm, pleasant texture make them irresistible!

This is one of the best mushrooms there is, and it's always a pleasure to find it, alone or in groups. Near the entrance to Gourmet Sauvage stands a large spruce tree that offers us several boletes every year, which we discover early in the morning. These woodland treasures are always very welcome!
