Originally from Russia, sea buckthorn is a fruit of emerging culture perfectly suited to our climate so much so that we now come across specimens that are naturalized.
The orange berry is very tart and has notes of mango, passion fruit and citrus. We make our delicious jam by hand, with a minimum of organic sugar so as to highlight the subtlety of the aromas of the argouse.
If it makes an exquisite jammy jam, the sea buckthorn jam is as complicit with the salty dishes as it balances with elegance.
