Witch Hazel is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an astringent to help relieve symptoms associated with varicose veins such as painful and heavy legs, sensation of swelling, heaviness and tingling of the legs. Juniper is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a diuretic, as a urinary tract antiseptic to help relieve benign urinary tract infections, to help relieve digestive disturbances such as flatulent dyspepsia (carminative) and to aid digestion and stimulate appetite (stomachic). Used in Herbal Medicine as a diuretic. Provides antioxidants that help fight/protect against cell damage caused by free radicals.
Recommended Dose (Adults):
1 tea bag (1.5g), 2 times per day as infusion. Infuse 1 tea bag in 1 cup of boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes. Take a few hours before or after taking minerals and/or vitamin B supplements.
Medicinal Ingredients:
Each tea bag (1.5g) contains 400mg leaf of Betula pubescens (Birch); 600mg leaf of Hamamelis virginiana (Witch Hazel); 200mg leaf of Hibiscus sabdariffa (Sorrel) and 300mg fruit of Juniperus communis (Juniper).
Duration of use:
Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks. Diuretic: For occasional use only.

Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; prior to use if you are breastfeeding or if you have edema due to kidney or cardiovascular disorder.Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat and/or difficulty breathing.
Contraindications:
Do not use if you are pregnant; if you have a kidney disorder; if you have a heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes or edema (swelling of hands, face and feet) or if you are taking products containing diuretics.
