Detox

Recommended Dose (Adults 18 years and over):

1 tea bag, 2 to 3 times per day, as infusion. Infuse 1 tea bag in 1 cup of boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes. Take a few hours before or after taking other medication or natural health products.

Medicinal Ingredients:

Each tea bag contains 150mg leaf of Arctostaplylos uva-ursi (Uva ursi); 150mg petal of Calendula officinalis (Marigold); 300mg leaf of Cynara cardunculus (Artichoke); 150mg herb of Equisetum arvense (Horsetail); 300mg root of Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice); 150mg leaf of Ribes nigrum (Black-currant); 150mg leaf of Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary); 150mg seed of Silybum marianum (Milk thistle).

Duration of use:

Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 1 week.

Cautions/Warnings:

Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; prior to use if you have a liver disorder or gallstones.

Contraindications:

Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; if you have hypokalemia, a cardiovascular disorder, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes or edema (swelling of hands, face and feet) or are taking products containing diuretics; if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Composite/Daisy family; if you have a bile duct obstruction; if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Known Adverse Reactions:

Hypersensitivity, such as allergy has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal beat and/or difficulty breathing.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal on bag is broken.
